U.S. Senate confirms V.U. professor Carol Swain’s appointment to NEH Council on the Humanities

The U.S. Senate early this morning confirmed the nomination of Carol M. Swain, Vanderbilt professor of political science and law, to the National Council on the Humanities. Venture Fund Helps Bring Health Fair

Latino Health Fair

With the help of a Venture Fund grant, students in Spanish for Medicine along with Professor Lori Catanzaro, Senior Lecturer in Spanish, organized a basic screening and educational health fair for Latino Immigrants. The event was held at the Clairmont Apartments which houses mostly immigrants from Mexico and Central America. Read More »
