Wherever you are in the career planning process, the Center offers a variety of services and resources to help you explore your options and clarify your interests, search for opportunities, and connect with employers.
Getting started with the Center is easy. First-year students and others who have not been to our office are encouraged to visit with our coaching staff during walk-in hours, held daily during the academic year. No appointment is needed. If your questions require more time than can be answered during the initial walk-in session, you can request to schedule a one-on-one coaching appointment. Stop by the front desk or call our office at 615-322-2750 to request an appointment.
The Center for Student Professional Development partners with the Career Development Services office of the Graduate School to provide career resources to graduate students.
The Graduate School offers career services to all PhD, MS, MA, MLAS and MFA students. Additional information including walk-in hours is available on the Graduate School Career Development website.
