Meet Our Professional Coaching Staff

Amy BugnoAmy Bugno

Assistant Director/Coach
Area(s) of focus: First-Year Students

Amy joined the Center in 2014. Prior to Vanderbilt, she worked in event planning and alumni affairs at her undergraduate alma mater, The University of North Carolina. Amy also completed a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from Vanderbilt’s Peabody College in 2014.

Originally from Scranton, Pa., Amy loves traveling, trivia, baseball, and cheering on the Tar Heels and Commodores!

Anne ReedAnne Reed

Assistant Director of Student Engagement
Area(s) of focus: First-Year Students; Campus Outreach

Anne joined the Center in 2012. Prior to Vanderbilt, Anne worked in corporate sales and marketing, and education. She holds a Master’s degree and teaching certification in business education.

Originally from Michigan, Anne loves spending time with her family and being outdoors. She enjoys spending time on the water, traveling, and baking.

Cathy WeisbrodtCathy Weisbrodt 

Assistant Director/Career Coach
Area(s) of focus: Engineering, Health Care

Cathy works with the following majors: biomedical engineering. Additionally, she works with students interested in non-clinical health care.

Cathy joined the Center in 2012. Previously, she spent five years in the area of health-related fundraising including three years with Development and Alumni Relations at Vanderbilt.

Calling Nashville home for the past 15 years, Cathy is originally from Northville, MI and enjoys traveling, spending time with friends, and experiencing various genres of live music.

Cynthia WashingtonCynthia Washington 

Assistant Director/Career Coach
Area(s) of focus: Engineering, Information Technology

Cynthia works with the following majors: electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science and chemical engineering.

Cynthia joined the Center in 2011. Her background includes three years at the Engineering Career Resource Center at the University of Michigan. Prior to her career in higher education, Cynthia was a flight attendant for 16 years.

Originally from Detroit, Cynthia has lived in Hawaii, New York and Atlanta. She enjoys reading, traveling, jazz, and watching sports.

Dorrie PressonDorrie Presson

Assistant Director/Career Coach
Area(s) of focus: Finance, Real Estate, Insurance

Dorrie joined the Center in 2012. Prior to Vanderbilt, she worked as a professional career coach in her business, Career Transition Services. She’s also served as a consultant with global talent management companies Drake Beam Morin and Career Partners International.

Dorrie and her husband Ramon have two teenage sons. She’s a sports fan and has lost count of the hours she’s spent along the sidelines of her boys’ basketball, soccer and ultimate frisbee games.

Ethan FespermanEthan Fesperman

Assistant Director/Career Coach
Area(s) of focus: Consulting, Finance

Ethan joined the Center in 2014. Previously, he spent 15 years in a variety of educational organizations, connecting students to opportunities. He completed his undergraduate studies in education at Warren Wilson College and earned a master’s degree in education from The George Washington University.

A native of Nashville who is returning after stints in Washington, DC and Asheville, NC, Ethan enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, and adult gymnastics.

Grace JanoskiGrace Janoski

Assistant Director/Career Coach
Area(s) of focus: Business, Consulting, HR

Grace joined the Center in 2012. She graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in Organizational Communication concentrating on student affairs and event coordination. Currently, she is pursuing a Master of Education degree at Belmont University.

A native of Nashville, Grace enjoys country music, working on her parent’s farm, cooking, and playing with her pet rabbit, Rupert.

Heather LefkowitzHeather Lefkowitz

Assistant Director/Career Coach
Area(s) of focus: Arts, Media, Communications

Heather joined the Center in 2013. She previously worked for ten years at the Curb Center for Art, Enterprise and Public Policy at Vanderbilt. She completed her undergraduate degree in the College of Arts and Science, and graduated in 2011 from Vanderbilt Divinity School with a Master of Divinity.

Heather loves hot chicken, spending time with her family, and improv (not in that order).

Tim GrubbsTim Grubbs

Assistant Director/Career Coach
Area(s) of focus: Engineering, Information Technology; Entrepreneurship/Innovation

Tim works with the following majors: civil engineering, mechanical engineering and general engineering.

Tim joined the Center in 2012. Before beginning his work at Vanderbilt he worked in career transition consulting and Workforce Development managing federal funds to assist with job training. He is a native of Nashville and spends as much time as possible canoeing, biking and reading.

Molly KunzmanMolly Kunzman

Program Coordinator

Molly joined the Center in 2014. Prior to Vanderbilt, Molly worked in undergraduate admissions at her alma mater, Colgate University.

A new resident of Tennessee, Molly enjoys exploring all of the different restaurants in Nashville. She also loves reading, traveling, and running in the park with her dog, Indy.
