Welcome to the Peer Career Advocate Program (PCAP)

The Peer Career Advocates (PCAs) are Vanderbilt student leaders who have joined the VCC team to assist students in their career journey. The PCAs –

  • Provide peer career education to students individually and in groups.
  • Represent the "student perspective and voice" by proposing innovative and effective ideas while serving on VCC teams.
  • Serve on a Career Cluster Team helping to facilitate connections between students, alumni, employers and parents within with the respective career areas.
  • Represent the VCC at student organization fairs and support VCC events.
  • Expand VCC visibility to the student body through active student leadership and communication.
  • Participate in on-going self-evaluation through regular meetings with VCC Mentor.

The PCAs are not only working in the VCC, but can be found frequently out and about on campus answering questions and helping students take those next steps.
