Alumni, living in the middle Tennessee area, are eligible to receive Career Assessment Testing at Vanderbilt's Psychological and Counseling Center (VPCC). A nominal fee is charged. To schedule an appointment, the alumni will need to call the VPCC at 615-322-2571. They can learn more about the VPCC at www.vanderbilt.edu/pcc/
Alumni seeking career transition assistance may gather information and advice from community transition groups and professional organizations. While the Vanderbilt Career Center does not endorse these resources, career transition groups and professional organizations can provide much needed help in career changing and job search.

Reciprocity
Alumni outside the Nashville area who are interested in accessing career resources such as a Career Center resource library, will want to consider requesting reciprocity from the colleges or universities in their geographic area. Alumni can request a letter of reciprocity from our office to be sent to the Career Center of a particular school. This request is typically granted and an alumnus will have access to certain Career Center resources. Access to on-line databases and other specific job information varies by institution. To determine what an alumni might be eligible for through a reciprocity arrangement, encourage alumni interested in reciprocity to contact the career office of the college or university near him/her. If the resources would be helpful for the alumni, encourage the alumni to contact our office with the specific career office information including contact name and mailing address or email address and a letter will be sent to that particular school. For more information and the online reciprocity request form, please see the Reciprocity Policy.
