How do I schedule an Information Session?

Great, we are excited to have you on campus to meet with our students. We have opened up CareerLink ( disclaimer) , our web-based recruiting system, to make it easier for employers to request these events.

Please log into CareerLink. Once in CareerLink, simply click on the "Events" tab followed by the "Information Session" tab. You will see a button that says "Add new." Click on the "Add new tab." Please complete the information requested.

In an effort to support initiatives within VCC recruiting, we are now charging For Profit Organizations a nominal fee of $150 and Nonprofit and Government organizations a nominal fee of $75.

Upon submission of your request, the recruiting staff will send you a confirmation email that will identify the date, time, and location of your information session. Additionally, you will be able to submit remittance via either credit card through a secure online vendor or send a check directly to the VCC.

How do I set up my Interview Schedule?

We have opened up CareerLink, our web-based recruiting system, to make it easier for employers to request and manage their own On Campus Interview (OCI) Schedules. In this way you will able to see students who have applied and communicate with them in real time.

Please log into CareerLink and click the "On campus interviews" tab, followed by the "Request a schedule" tab. You can request the date that you are interested in interviewing on campus and the number of rooms you anticipate you will need.

The recruiting team will check the dates and room availability and send you an email confirming your request.

Help! I can’t get into CareerLink. How can I access my account?

First check to see if you have selected the employer portal. Does the URL say https://vanderbilt-csm.symplicity.com/employers/ ? It is easy to accidently select the student portal.

If you are logged into the employer site, the next step is to try "forgot password." If you are still unable to log into CareerLink or are locked out of the system, please call us at 615-322-2750, we will be happy to assist you.

How do I make a payment?

For your convenience and security the VCC has contracted with a secure online vendor for credit card payments. We do accept Credit Cards in the form of American Express, Visa and MasterCard. If you wish to pay via check, please make the check out to the Vanderbilt University Career Center and send to:
