 Reservations
Natchez Trace Field
The Natchez Trace multi-purpose field can be reserved in person only by visiting the office of Campus Recreation Mon - Fri, 9am-5pm.
- Reservations are made for half of the field.
- Reservations may be made up to a week in advance.
- Reservations are limited to a mazimum of 2-hour block once a week.
- VU I.D. card must be presented to reserve a field.
- Guests must be sponsored by a VU student, faculty/staff, and/or current SRC member and pay a $5 fee each visit.
- Guests are required to present picture I.D. card at the Welcome Center in the SRC.
- No Alcohol/No Pets allowed.
- Loss of field privileges may occur from:
- Playing on reserved field with ineligible participants.
- Violation of alcohol/pet policy.
- Violation of inclement weather policy.
For special events, Natchez Field can be reserved by VU students, faculty/staff, current SRC members and appropriate parties by making reservations throught the Office of Schedules and Reservations, 322-2448.
Inclement Weather - The OCR reserves the right to close the field during inclement weather without prior notice. If inclement weather arises suddently, it is up to the group to decide if damage will be done to the field. Always have an alternative site and check the weather daily.
Gym Court Reservations
Reservations can be made for one court, one hour per week, one week in advance, and free of charge. If not reserved, the court(s) is open on a first come, first serve basis. Reservations are limited to a maximum of one-hour block, once a week. If reservation request is more than one hour, please contact the Office of Schedules and Reservations at 322-2448.
- Reservations must be made in person in the OCR During office hours Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm.
- VU I.D. card must be presented to reserve a court. All participants must be VU students, faculty/staff or current Student Recreation Center members. Guests must be sponsored and pay a $5 fee. Pay at the Welcome Center (pictures ID required).
- No food or drink allowed on gym courts. Only non-marking shoes allowed.
- Ten minute grace period allowed.
- Loss of court privileges may occur from:
- Not following OCR policies and procedures.
- Violation of alcohol policy.
- Inappropriate behavior.
The office of Campus Recreation reserves the right to make changes in all policies and reservations without prior notice.
Racquetball and Squash Courts
Please call 343-8181 to make reservations.
- Maximum 1 hour block reservation per person per day.
- Scheduled Sport Clubs, Intramurals, or special events have court priority.
- Reservations forfeited after "No Show" 15 minutes grace period.
- Reservations allowed 3 days in advance when made in person or by phone.
- Phone reservations accepted in advance Mon-Sat, 11:00am-2:00pm, Sun 1:00pm-3:00pm at 343-8181.
- Same day reservations not taken after time listed above.
- Challenge Court on Court #1 every day from 4:00pm-7:00pm. Any one can challenge the current player(s) for court access. Winner controls court.
- Eye Guards are strongly recommended.
Other Facility Reservations
Specific areas within the Student Recreation Center can be reserved by visiting the Office of Campus Recreation Mon-Fri 9am-5pm. These areas are typically available after peak hours.

- Racquetball Courts 1-6
- Squash courts 7-8
- Mat Room
- Aerobics Room*
- Classroom A
- Classroom B
- Conference Room
- Lounge
- Aquatic Center**
- Pool Patio
Reservations can be made for a maximum of two hours per week, one week in advance, and free of charge. If not reserved, they are open on a first come, first serve basis. If reservation request is more than two hours and/or requires set up/tear down/clean up, please contact the Office of Schedules and Reservations at 322-2448.
*Please note that the sound system within the aerobics room is not accessible to personnel.
