Whether you work, live, or play near by when time is of the essence. We've got "memberships with your needs in mind!"
Take a look at our time savvy memberships for everyone.
- Full membership is access to the SRC during all open hours of the facility.
- Limited membership is access to the SRC Monday - Friday from 5:30am-2:00pm, and all day Saturday and Sunday, plus all University designated holidays and breaks.
- Dependent Membership. Ages 3 - 17 may access the facility with a weekend membership starting Friday at 5 pm and all day Saturday and Sunday, plus during all University designated holidays and breaks. Full access granted in summer.
- Children under 14 years old must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- Children 2 years of age and under will be admitted free.
- Dependents age 3-25 may purchase full or limited use membership only if the parent (student/faculty/staff/alumni/affiliate) is a current member.
Please note the Student Rec Center hours vary depending on holidays and academic breaks. Peak hours typically are 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday during both the academic year as well as summer. The pool experiences a heavier user load during the summer. Students
Undergraduate students are assessed through tuition a Student Recreation fee that grants them unlimited access to SRC facilities. Graduate and Professional students are assessed through tuition a Student Recreation fee that entitles them to one-half the use time of undergraduates.
- All students enrolled during the summer pay an additional fee.
- Students not enrolled for the current semester of classes may purchase a membership at the student rate.
Faculty, Staff, Alumni and Spouses
- Full or Part-time Faculty, Staff and Spouses/Domestic Partners. Faculty, staff and their spouses/domestic partners may purchase a limited or full membership through check, cash, Commodore Card, or payroll deduction.
- Payroll deduction memberships must be active for a minimum of four months before cancellation can be granted if desired by employee.
- Deductions are continual until member cancels or employment is terminated.
- If employment ends through termination, member must follow normal cancellation procedure to avoid a surcharge fee.
- Dependent weekend memberships are not available through payroll deduction.
- Faculty and Staff Spouses/Domestic partners: may purchase full or limited use memberships without the Vanderbilt employee joining the Rec. Center.
- Vanderbilt Temporary Service Employees: are not eligible for membership, but may be a guest of a member.
- Alumni and Spouses: visiting the campus free during Homecoming, Reunions, Commencement, and other special occasions, will be allowed use of the facility during posted hours as determined by the OCR Director. Alumni spouses and dependents are eligible for membership only if the alum is a current member.
Affiliates, Community and Guests
Affiliates: Affiliates are determined as anyone with a current contractual agreement with Vanderbilt University. Verification must be submitted prior to membership purchase to the Assistant Director of Member Relations. Membership rates are based off listed income brackets such as faculty and staff. Spouses/Domestic Partners and dependents of Affiliates may purchase a community membership or may be a guest of a member only to access the SRC.
Community: Full membership access is available to the first 200 individuals not affiliated with Vanderbilt University beginning each academic year. This includes, but is not limited to any Vanderbilt Temporary Service employees, Affiliate spouses/domestic partners and dependents. Any previous community member may be checked in a as guest of a member 20 times a semester until membership is renewed.
- To ensure all patrons' safety and security, community members will be held to the same conduct code that applies to Vanderbilt's students, faculty, and staff. Violations of the conduct code may result in suspension or cancellation of membership privileges.

Guest Policies
- 20 visit limit per semester at $5.00 per day
- ALL PARTIES MUST SHOW ID, and sponsor must accompany guest during the entire stay to gain admittance.
- Guest passes are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Sponsors are defined as anyone with a current Vanderbilt issued ID classified as student, faculty, staff (full or part-time), and alumni.
- Sponsors are responsible for all guest actions and/or damages.
Categories of various guests:
Student/Faculty/Staff/Alumni/Affiliate: may self- sponsor themselves as a guest as an alternative to purchasing a current membership.
(VTS)Vanderbilt Temporary Service employees, affiliate and alumni spouses/domestic partners and dependents of any.
All Dependents age 14-17: may be a guest during the weekday with an adult sponsor.
University/Departmental Guest: Please email your advance request and/or questions for visitors wanting guest access for one day or multiple days to the Assistant Director of Member Relations.
Parents: Visiting the campus will be allowed in free during posted hours.
