Annual Registration
Existing sport clubs are required to re-register annually to maintain official status. Typically, the registration period is in September, via on-line access. Go to www.vanderbilt.edu/studentorganizations. Clubs failing to register by the deadline may jeopardize their practice reservations and bugdet allocation.
Facilities/Scheduling
All indoor and outdoor club will regularly to reserve practice times and days. Weekend reservations are done on a first come, first serve basis. All requests for recreational facilities are done through the Office of Campus Recreation by contacting LaDonna Meuchel at ladonna.l.meuchel@vanderbilt.edu.
Membership Dues
Each club will determine whether dues are necessary and, if so, the amount. These dues can be used for club expenses similar to the Office of Campus Recreation annual allocation.
Annual Allocation
Every registered sport club is entitled to and eligible for modest financial support from the Office of Campus Recreation (OCR). These funds are considered a subsidy only, as each club is primarily financed by its members. OCR funds may be used for items such as: administrative costs, league and association dues, printing, postage, travel expenses, and equipment. Each club is expected to conduct some fund raising.
