Rebecca Webb Wilson

Rebecca Webb Wilson, a trustee since 1989, received her B.A. from Vanderbilt University and went on to earn her J.D. from the University of Memphis School of Law.

Prior to attending law school, she worked as a flight attendant for Pan American World Airways and as a realtor with Kemmons Wilson Realty. After earning her J.D., she served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Western District of Tennessee for several years.
Mrs. Wilson founded Bridge Builders, a youth leadership program. She has served as a trustee for Belmont University, is a former vice president of the Memphis Zoological Society, and is a former member of the Community Foundation Board of Governors. A dedicated volunteer, she has traveled with—and captained—medical and dental missions to Honduras. A graduate of Leadership Memphis, she has enjoyed the honor of being named one of Memphis’s Adult Volunteers of the Year. She has served as vice chairman of the Vanderbilt Board of Trust.

Currently, she serves as a director of the Assisi Foundation and is a member of the Community Advisory Board of Baptist Memorial Hospital.

She and her husband, Spence, are the parents of Spence, Jr., Rebecca, Lauren, and Webb, and are the grandparents of seven.
