Andrew M. Wilson

Andrew Wilson has a double major in neuroscience and mathematics from Vanderbilt and is now enrolled in the Baylor College of Medicine. He was recently elected to a four-year term as Young Alumni Trustee.

At Vanderbilt, Mr. Wilson was a member of various academic honor societies such as the Honors College Scholar Program, Neuroscience Honors Program, Alpha Lambda Delta, Phi Eta Sigma, Phi Beta Gamma, Athenian Junior Honor Society, Mortar Board, Order of Omega, and Phi Beta Kappa.

Mr. Wilson served as treasurer for Alternative Spring Break, and treasurer and later vice president of the Interfraternity Council. He also participated in Vanderbuddies mentoring, Vanderbilt Students Volunteering for Science, and the Dance Marathon for Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital, among other activities. He has also been a student representative on the search committee for the Greek Life Assistant Director, and the First Year Programs Assistant Director.

Mr. Wilson’s goal is to elucidate the biological basis of Alzheimer’s Disease. He attends medical school in Houston, Texas.
