Dudley Brown White Dudley Brown White, a trustee since 1980, becoming trustee emerita in 2006, graduated magna cum laude from Vanderbilt University. Involved in a wide variety of community projects, she has chaired such events as the Swan Ball, the Capital Campaign at St. George’s Church, the Symphony Royale, the Lawn and Garden Fair, and the Capital Campaign for The Hermitage. Mrs. White previously presided over the Junior League of Nashville, Inc., the Ladies’ Hermitage Association, Women of St. George’s Episcopal Church, the Horticultural Society of Middle Tennessee, the Garden Club of Nashville, and the Church Committee at All Saints Episcopal Church in Linville, North Carolina. She sat on the boards of numerous organizations, including George Peabody College for Teachers, the American Horticultural Society, the Garden Club of America, United Way of Middle Tennessee, the Nashville Symphony Association, and The Ensworth School. Mrs. White currently serves on the boards of Harpeth Hall School, the Tennessee Botanical Garden and Museum of Art at Cheekwood, and The Linville Foundation. She is the mother of Walter M. Morgan III and William D. Morgan and has six grandchildren. Her husband is John Warner White. |
