Thomas B. Walker, Jr. Thomas B. Walker, Jr., a trustee since 1974, becoming trustee emeritus in 2003, graduated from Vanderbilt in 1947. After Navy service in World War II, he joined Equitable
Securities Corporation and became head of the firm’s Dallas office
in 1950. He later became senior vice president and director of Equitable
Securities, Morton and Company. He is a member of the New York Stock
Exchange, a partner of Goldman, Sachs and Company in Dallas, and a director
of Goldman Sachs International of London. He and his wife, Anne Marie, have two sons, Thomas and John Newton. |
