L. Hall Hardaway, Jr. L. Hall Hardaway, Jr., a trustee since 1990, was in the class of 1955 and graduated with a civil engineering degree. He has been with Hardaway Construction Company since 1956, his tenure with the company beginning when he was a field superintendent during his final year of school. Since then, he has worked in all phases of responsibility in the construction field. He currently serves as chairman of the board of the company. He served on the board of governors for the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and was president and director of the Nashville chapter of Associated General Contractors. Mr. Hardaway also served on the boards of Dominion Bank of Middle Tennessee, Davidson Academy, and First Baptist Church of Hendersonville. His previous business and civic affiliations include working as a director of the Trust Board of Sovran Bank, serving as director and vice president of Citizens Bank in Hendersonville, and acting as director of Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee, Inc. He is a member of the School of Engineering’s Lewis Society and the National Commodore Club and is a former president of the Nashville Vanderbilt Club. He and his wife, Linda, are the parents of Cathy, Stan, and Kay. |
