Frank A. Godchaux III Frank A. Godchaux III, a trustee since 1967, becoming trustee emeritus in 2003, graduated from Vanderbilt University in 1949 with a B.A. in business administration. He served as chief executive officer of Riviana Foods from 1980 to 1984 and as its chairman from 1965 to 2004. He held various management positions at Louisiana State Rice Milling Company, Inc., including director, vice president, president and chief executive officer, and chairman of the board and chief executive officer. He also worked as vice president of Colgate-Palmolive Company in New York from 1976 to 1984. Mr. Godchaux is a former director of Acadian Television Corporation, Diversifoods, Inc., The First National Bank of Lafayette, Louisiana, Coastal Inc., First Commerce Corporation of New Orleans, The Chart House of Solana Beach, California, The Walker Companies, Sysco Corporation of Houston, and the Atlantic Salmon Federation. He is a member of the Episcopal Church and the Council on Foreign Relations. He and his wife, Agnes, are the parents of Katherine Area, Mary Lawrence, Leslie Kirkpatrick, and Frank Kirkpatrick. |
