Degrees and Funding

The department offers a Master of Science (MS) and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biostatistics. The MS degree has a two-year curriculum arch. The expected time to completion for a PhD is five years. The program accepts 4 PhD students and 4 MS students for Fall Admissions. Funding decisions are made on a case by case basis. However, we anticipate that the program will offer full funding for PhD students and an 80% tuition waver for MS students. All funding decisions are finalized when the applicant is offered admission.
