Black Graduates’ Recognition Ceremony
The Black Graduates’ Recognition Ceremony
A celebration of diversity at Vanderbilt. It recognizes our students of color and their families as they complete the journey from enrollment to graduation. This ceremony is open to all Vanderbilt graduates as we acknowledge their accomplishments and thank their families and
friends for their support along the way. The ceremony is followed by a Soul Food luncheon on the day of Commencement, right after the service concludes in the Black Cultural Center. This luncheon serves as our last fellowship with the graduates and their families as the academic year comes to a close.
