Vanderbilt Offers Career Enhancing Opportunity

This fall Vanderbilt University will again offer the nationally acclaimed program "Golf for Business & Life". This is the fifth year this program has been offered and the response in the past has been tremendous!

Program Details

  • Offered to all Seniors and to Graduate Students with the Law School and Owen School.
  • An introduction to golf for new golfers who have not played and want to learn, as well as for more experienced golfers who would like more instruction.
  • 5 weeks of instruction through Vanderbilt Legends Golf Academy, with an on-course playing experience at the Little Course.
  • Learn how to use golf to further your career.
  • One lecture, topic "How to Use Golf in Business", with guest speakers.
  • Students also receive golf passes to the Little Course in Franklin.
  • Equipment will be provided if needed.

General Information

  • Golf classes held at Vanderbilt's Legends Club in Franklin. The playing experience with on-course instruction will be held at the Little Course, next door to Legends. (both are approximately a 30-minute drive from campus).
  • Cost: $75 per student, same as last year.
  • A total of 48 people will be split evenly into two groups. One group will meet on Tuesdays and the other group will meet on Wednesdays.
  • 3:45 to 5:30, weekly, starting mid-September and ending in mid-October.

Specific dates for the two groups:

September 12 & 13 3:45 to 5:30 Introduction & Session 1
September 19 & 20 3:45 to 5:30 Session 2
September 26 & 27 3:45 to 5:30 Session 3
October 3 3:45 to 5:30 Session 4 (this is the lecture date for both groups)
October 10 & 11 3:45 to 5:45 Session 5
October 17 & 18 3:45 to 5:30 Rain Dates
