The Vanderbilt Alumni Association offers many ways for alumni, parents and friends to stay connected with Vanderbilt. - Commodore Recruitment Programs (CORPs), the admissions office invites alumni around the globe to participate in vital recruitment efforts such as the Alumni Interviewing Program (AIP), college fair activities, contacting admitted students, and "Vanderbilt and You" receptions.
- Regional Vanderbilt Chapters of the Alumni Association Connect with alumni, parents, students and friends from around the world.
- VU Undergraduate Reunion Volunteer for your class reunion.

- Commodore Career Connection Volunteer to career network with other alumni and help VU students through the VUconnect alumni community.

“My local Vanderbilt chapter helps me stay connected with Vanderbilt and meet new alumni in Atlanta.
We attend the Atlanta Community Food Bank monthly with about 10 Vanderbilt volunteers to sort and package food. We have cooked dinner at the Ronald McDonald House. This was a great activity because it involved alumni of all ages as well as their children.
We are planning a service day with the Special Olympics for Martin Luther King Day 2011 as well as a Habitat for Humanity build day for Spring 2011.”Sara Tabor, BS’08, Macc’09 Atlanta Chapter
