University Updates
What are Vanderbilt's future goals? What is our strategy for the undergraduate and graduate school experience? What are the financial resources to support these initiatives?
Provost Richard McCarty and CFO/Vice Chancellor of Finance Brett Sweet are answering these questions and many others as they visit various chapters around the country to deliver university updates.

Attending a University Update connects you with Vanderbilt and the alumni community in your area, fills you with pride in your alma mater and brings clarity to its challenges. But it also serves as a reminder that, as a graduate of Vanderbilt, you are forever linked to your alma mater.
Vanderbilt presents you with a number of opportunities to strengthen your bond to the university. You can play an active role in the life of the university by becoming a member of the Oak Leaf Society with a gift - of any amount - in two or more consecutive years, attending future events and volunteering your time. The following volunteer roles are both vital to Vanderbilt and also help enrich the lives of our alumni:
- Recruit new students, become a CORPs volunteer
- Become a reunion volunteer for your class
- Get involved with your local chapter
- Signup in VUconnect and become a Career Adviser and post jobs for fellow alumni
Attend an update and strengthen your Vanderbilt connection
