Travel into our country’s turbulent past aboard the grand paddlewheel steamboat, the American Queen . Daily lectures by the onboard Riverlorian enhance your experience and make the sights and sounds of the Civil War come alive as you explore cities like Memphis, Vicksburg and Natchez. Further south in Louisiana, we’ll stop in St. Francisville and Baton Rouge before visiting Houmas House, a perfectly restored plantation home. Our cruise ends in New Orleans as we disembark near historic Jackson Square.
