No stretch of river in the United States boasts as much history as the Mississippi between New Orleans and Memphis. This waterway journey includes gracious plantation homes, exquisite gardens, and sites that played a pivotal role during the Civil War—all set to music by onboard jazz performances. As you make your way north from New Orleans, stops include Oak Alley Plantation, Houmas House Plantation and Gardens, Vicksburg and Natchez, the oldest city on the Mississippi and once one of the wealthiest towns in the country. Your onboard chef specializes in American regional culinary traditions and specialties. Both the lounge and dining room are surrounded by large picture windows to ensure you never miss any of the wonderful sites along the way.
