This 17-day, small-group tour gives you an in-depth look at Eastern Europe. From the baroque elegance of historic Vienna to the poignant reminders of Auschwitz, you’ll get a firsthand view of this part of the world. Your journey begins in Poland, where you’ll visit UNESCO World Heritage sites and other significant locales. You’ll traverse the Tatra Mountains in Slovakia en route to Buda’s elegant Castle District. You’ll have a free day to explore the “Paris of the east” on your own. Opulent Vienna is next on the itinerary, followed by Bratislava and Prague—including visits to Josefov, the city’s remarkable Jewish ghetto and the Old Jewish Cemetery where generations are buried a top one another.
