Hosted by your Vanderbilt Alumni Association, the dean of The Ingram Commons and faculty heads of house. All seniors will be emailed invitations for this event and check the Commencement website for details as well.

Here's a sample from the Life After Vanderbilt  guide.

"Never believe the landlord when he says that living next to the EL train is an 'urban experience.'" —Elle Luna, BA'04

"Always account for unexpected costs. Your car will inevitably need new tires when you least have the money to pay for them." — Shannon Franklin, BS'04

"Without the George Foreman Grill, I would starve." —Clayton Davis, BE'07

Young Alumni Trustees

The Vanderbilt Board of Trust includes four Young Alumni Trustees (YATs) who bring the knowledge and viewpoints of young alumni and current students to the board. One YAT is selected each year from the graduating senior class to serve as a full board member for a four-year term. Vanderbilt was the first university to start this tradition in 1968.
