Dan and Lina Welliver Dickinson

Lina Dickinson is married to Dan Dickinson and lives in Kansas City, Mo.. They are the parents of four children, Max (9), Thomas (7), Daniel (4) and Annabelle (3). They both graduated from the College of Arts and Science in 1994. Lina went on to receive her MBA from Rockhurst University in 1999, and Dan received his law degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas.

After a career in health insurance, Lina chose to stay home with her children and is dividing her time between them and various community service commitments. Currently she is serving on the Kansas City Art Institute Board, is a big sister in the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization, sits on her children's school leadership committee, and is co-chairing the Children's Mercy Hospital fundraising gala. Lina was originally from the San Francisco Bay Area. After graduating from Vanderbilt she lived in Atlanta for two years. Now she calls Kansas City her home where in her spare time she enjoys working in her children's school, reading, exercising and playing tennis.

Dan is originally from Chillicothe, a small town in Missouri. He came to Kansas City after graduating from law school to work in banking for Dickinson Financial Corp. When Dan isn’t working he is either coaching his son’s basketball team, reading or playing tennis. He is on the local boards of the Boy Scouts of America, the Kansas City Sports Commission, and the Vision Research Foundation.
