Trish CookWhen it comes to Vanderbilt, Trish just can't let herself get too far away. After graduating in 1984, she stayed at Vanderbilt to obtain a master's degree in art history. While completing her thesis, she began working at Vanderbilt as a researcher and fundraiser–and stayed for almost 15 years. Eventually she left Vanderbilt and Nashville to follow her soon-to-be husband (Gene Cook, BA'94) to the Bay Area of California. Two years ago, Trish leapt at the chance to serve on Vanderbilt's Alumni Association Board of Directors because it means she is back on campus at least twice a year. In San Jose, Trish is a stay-at-home mom who spends her days running around after 3-year-old Dylan, wishing he would take a nap.
