Michael SheridanMichael Sheridan married Pamela Piontek in 1989. The Sheridans live in Nashville with their son, Jack (14), and daughter, Caroline (11). After graduating from Vanderbilt with a degree in political science, he received his law degree from the University of Tennessee in 1987. Michael returned to Nashville where he practiced law with the Nashville office of Adams, Reese, Stokes & Bartholomew until 1991. From 1991 until 1996, he served as associate general counsel of Comdata Network Inc. He became general counsel of Comdata and its subsidiaries in 1996, a position he held until 2007. In 2007, he was appointed executive vice president, general counsel and secretary of Comdata’s parent company, Ceridian Corp.
Michael enjoys spending time with his family, including vacations in the Bahamas. A member of the National Commodore Club, he appreciates Vanderbilt athletics (including the football team’s 2008 victory in the Music City Bowl). Michael enjoys volunteer work with the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia Congregation.
