Gayley Atkinson Patterson

Gayley Atkinson Patterson lives in Nashville with her husband, Bob (JD’78), and their two children, Shep (17) and Alden (16). Gayley divides her time among her husband, children and various community service commitments. Gayley received her BA in 1974 and MBA in 1978 from Vanderbilt University. She worked in Nashville primarily in real estate finance. Gayley is very involved in the Nashville community with organizations such as the Nashville Ballet, University School of Nashville, Nashville Swim League, Belle Meade Plantation, Montgomery Bell Academy, St. George's Episcopal Church and the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. Gayley was a past co-chair of the Iroquois Steplechase, the Ballet Ball and the Hunt Ball. Previously she has been president of the Owen Alumni Association, University School of Nashville Association and the Friends of Children's Hospital. She and Bob are currently working on the Campaign Cabinet for the Children's Hospital.
