Kevin Grady Kevin Grady lives in Atlanta with his wife, Mary Beth O'Brien Grady (1972). They have two sons, Martin (BA’06) and Donald, who is to graduate from Denison University this year. After graduating from Vanderbilt, Kevin got his law degree from Harvard and practiced law for 34 years with Alston & Bird in Atlanta, concentrating on commercial litigation, particularly in the antitrust and health care fields. He chaired the American Bar Association section on Antitrust Law and was president of the Georgia Academy of Healthcare Attorneys. He retired from the firm last year and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in history at Georgia State University. He has been an active Vanderbilt alumnus, having served as president of the National Vanderbilt Alumni Association and has played an integral role for more than 20 years in the Lanier Scholarship Committee, which awards Vanderbilt merit scholarships to Atlanta-area students each year. He is an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Atlanta, currently serving as co-chair of the parish's capital campaign, and is a recently elected member of the Commission on Colleges for the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. He has attended three-fourths of all Vanderbilt football bowl games, missing only the 1955 Gator Bowl that occurred when he was in the second grade.
