Al Hubbard

Al Hubbard co-founded E&A Industries in 1977 and has served as the CEO since its founding. Along with searching for new acquisition opportunities, Hubbard is involved in the oversight of E&A’s current portfolio holdings.

In addition to his work at E&A Industries, Hubbard served in the White House under two administrations. During the George H.W. Bush administration, Hubbard was deputy chief of staff to Vice President Dan Quayle and executive director of the President’s Council on Competitiveness. More recently for President George W. Bush, Hubbard was assistant to the president for economic policy and director of the National Economic Council. Hubbard has also served on a number of boards, including WellPoint Corp.

Hubbard earned his law degree cum laude from Harvard Law School, his MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School and his bachelor’s degree cum laude from Vanderbilt University.

Hubbard and his wife, Kathy, have three children.
