McArthurFrank McArthur

Frank McArthur is married to Kathy McArthur and has lived in Baton Rouge, La., for 33 years. He has one child, Heather (BA ’95) married with two children and lives in Massachusetts. Frank has been in the insurance business for 42 years and his firm specializes in wealth transfer and employee benefits. He has served on many civic and nonprofit boards and is currently involved with several foundations including Baton Rouge Area Foundation, United Methodist Foundation of Louisiana and Louisiana Public Broadcasting.

Having established scholarships in the College of Arts and Science and the Divinity School 18 years ago, Frank has a passion for philanthropy and believes nearly everyone can leave something to benefit those who follow. He introduced “Leave a Legacy” to Baton Rouge as a marketing effort of the National Council of Planned Giving. He is on the Board of Visitors of the Vanderbilt Divinity School and is fundraising chair for the Class of 1964.

He and Kathy enjoy golf, skiing and traveling and look forward to spending more time with grandchildren in the coming years.
