Winston Paulding Caine

Winston Paulding Caine was born in Chattanooga, TN. He is married to Priscilla Caine, and they have three sons, Stephen, Matthew, and Adam. At Vanderbilt, Winston was a Phi Delta Theta and a member of the football and track teams. He graduated with a BA in Chemistry in 1959 and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Winston continued his education at John Hopkins University and received an MD in 1963. After serving two years as a physician in the United States Air Force, Winston returned to Chattanooga, where he still resides and works today. Winston is Chief of Hematology Services at Erlanger Hospital and a Professor of Medicine. Winston was recently awarded the Distinguished Physician Award at Erlanger. Winston continues to be a huge fan of Vanderbilt Athletics and currently serves on the Executive Board of Directors for the National Commodore Club.
