OCTOBER 24 - 25, 2008

Dear Class of 1983,

Our 25th Vanderbilt Reunion is coming up this Oct. 24-25—it's hard to believe it's been that long since we were sitting on "the Wall" and studying at the "Sci Li.”

Vanderbilt has changed a lot in 25 years but has remained the same, too. The campus is even more beautiful, the student body is more diverse, and the SAT scores are at an all-time high. Yet, Vanderbilt continues many of the traditions that were there when we were.

The bells of Kirkland Hall sound the same, undergraduate teaching continues to be the main focus of an outstanding faculty, Vanderbilt athletes are great students, and Rotier's cheeseburgers are still available right across West End.

Vanderbilt’s 25th reunions are usually well-attended, so please plan on being at ours. It will be a great celebration. ChairMake your plans now, contact your college buddies, and come back to Nashville Oct. 24-25.

And don't just come back—please give back. All of us have been shaped profoundly by our Vanderbilt experience and are beneficiaries of the generosity of those who came before us. Now is our opportunity to participate in handing that legacy of excellence on to present and future students. Make your Reunion gift now by clicking here!

Mark you calendars, and let us know if you would like to be involved in making our 25th Reunion a great experience. We look forward to seeing you in October!

Sincerely,

Ralph Davis, Class Weekend Chair
Stuart Gulley and Julie Sommers Neuman, Class Fundraising Co-Chairs
