Homecoming—Events


Vanderbilt’s Homecoming activities unite students, alumni and the greater Nashville community under the umbrella of pride and excitement for Vanderbilt University. Annual events include spirit activities such as the float-building competition, block party and Commodore Cup competition. There are also opportunities to participate in service activities. One highlight of the Homecoming is the announcement of the winner of the Outstanding Senior Award.

Tour the newly renovated facility where our student-athletes train to be champions in competition and study to be champions in the classroom. Following the open house, we invite you to hear Vice Chancellor David Williams speak at Rand Hall from 2:15 to 3:15 p.m.

Tailgate: 
$18 per person, includes brunch buffet and soft drinks
$10 per child (ages 6–12)
Free for children 5 and under

Cash bar with great prices.
Tailgate price does not include tickets to the game.

Come cheer the 'Dores on to victory! Football tickets will not be mailed—pick yours up 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Oct. 26 at registration (Sarratt Promenade) or on Oct. 27 at the Homecoming tailgate (Olin Lawn).
