New VU online community launches

Vanderbilt has launched VUconnect, a new online community for alumni and students. Replacing Dore2Dore, VUconnect includes new, expanded features to help you get connected more easily across the country and around the world. With VUconnect, you can share your latest news, reconnect with old friends and classmates, build a career network, find local alumni chapters and events, and more.

Alumni who have e-mail addresses on file with Vanderbilt should have received a registration code in a recent e-mail. If you need help getting your code, e-mail us or call the Help Desk at 615/ 322-5578. Help is available weekdays 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m. CST.

Journey to Patagonia with Vanderbilt Professor of History Marshall Eakin October 27 through November 8. The tour will begin in Buenos Aires and then travel south to Tierra del Fuego National Park. A three-night cruise aboard a new 136-passenger ship will take you around Cape Horn, through the glaciers of the southern fjords, and up to Chile's vibrant capital of Santiago via the scenic Torres del Paine National Park.
