The Life and Legacy of Dr. Elbert F. Cox, 1st black Ph.D. in Mathematics

Presentation by Dr. Talitha Washington, a professor or mathematics at the University of Evansville. She will discuss Dr. Cox’s life and the coincidence of racism and the Ku Klux Klan in Evansville, IN, in the 1920s.

Refreshments will be served.
