Vanderbilt University Army ROTC
Dear alumni,
Greetings and salutations!
We are now halfway through the spring semester and it’s that time of year again. We are happy to announce our annual Military Ball will be April 18, 2013. We are very excited and have wonderful speakers lined up, including Coach James Franklin. This is also a special year for alumni, as it is the first year we’re inviting AROTC alumni to join us. We hope you come out and support our cadets and learn more about our expanding program.

We are working very hard to provide the cadets with reduced cost tickets to the ball. Donated funds will be used to offset the price of the ticket for the cadets to attend the formal. It is our goal that all cadets will be able to attend for free. Please give using the “Give Now” link on this page.
Also, we have recently completed a renovation to the gym area of the ROTC headquarters building. We upgraded the exterior court yard with artificial turf and seven permanent pull up bars. The removal of some of the existing landscaping provides room for the cadets to perform physical training in the yard. Previously the battalion has not conducted physical training on site because of the limited space and equipment. In the future the battalion will be able to conduct the majority of its physical training session at the headquarters building.
Go Gold!
Very respectfully,
LTC Chris Black
