Dear Commodores,

Welcome to Phoenix! Boasting sunny weather 85% of the year, the city definitely earns the nickname Valley of the Sun. Many know Phoenix as a golfer's paradise, but there is much more to do with six professional sports teams, cutting edge restaurants, hiking, theater and more. With such wonderful attractions, the city draws people from all over not just to visit, but to make this their home as well.

The Phoenix Chapter of the Vanderbilt Alumni Association is comprised of both natives and transplants, adding to the diversity of the club. With such a unique group of alumni and friensd, it is a great opportunity not only to reconnect with the Vanderbilt community, but to network as well. Currently, over 800 alumni reside in the Valley of the Sun. With such a large presence, Commodore Nation has truly made its existence and excitement known in the southwest.

We have an array of events on our current calendar that are open to friends and family such as the Southern Schools mixer and the annual wine tasting event. The best part is that there are no annual dues!
