Welcome to New York! Whether you are a new alumnus/a or a seasoned New Yorker, we invite you to join us in exploring "The City." Known for finance, fashion, fine art and food, Gotham really is "The City that Never Sleeps."

The Metro New York Chapter organizes a wide variety of events for local alumni and parents of current students. With over 4,000 alumni in the Big Apple, we have an ideal community to connect with old classmates, meet new friends, and network with other Vanderbilt alumni and friends. Past events have included a MoMA tour with Professor Vivien Fryd, chocolate and wine tasting at Vosges, a Robert Earl Keene concert, a Brooklyn brewery tour, and dinner with Professor John Lachs.
