Real Estate Operations

Real Estate Operations consists of Vanderbilt University Real Estate, Printing Services, Vanderbilt Legends Club, and the Office of Traffic and Parking.

Vanderbilt University Real Estate

Vanderbilt University Real Estate (VURE) serves institutional needs through its holdings of over 3 million gross square feet. We provide for future campus growth and assist in influencing the quality of our campus borders through strategic investments in area real estate and by providing support for the Hillsboro Village area.

VURE provides administrative office space, office swing space for Vanderbilt departments with short-term needs, and clinic space for Medical Center departments. We provide the option of convenient apartment rentals to faculty, students and staff as well as convenient outpatient housing in furnished units on a monthly basis through our multi-family holdings. Our commercial holdings also provide space for area businesses as well as additional parking options.

VURE also manages the off-campus commercial leasing operations for the institution (both medical center and university central).  The University leases more than 1.7 million square feet in the Nashville area; notable locations include 2525 West End Avenue, One Hundred Oaks, and 3401 West End Avenue.

Printing Services

Printing Services offers offset color printing, digital color and black & white printing, foil stamping, blind embossing and bulk mailing to all areas of the institution. This internal printing department also includes two Campus Copy locations (Rand Hall and Chestnut Street) that offer quick turnaround and low cost copies for students, faculty, and staff. Printing Services online ordering website offers standardized letterhead, envelopes and business cards at below market averages for the entire Vanderbilt community.

Vanderbilt Legends Club

Vanderbilt Legends Club is the home of the Vanderbilt University Men's and Women's golf teams and offers discounted rates to all Vanderbilt faculty, staff, students, and alumni. Vanderbilt Legends Club is located in Franklin, approximately 20 minutes from Downtown Nashville, and 30 minutes from Nashville International Airport.

Office of Traffic and Parking

All students, faculty, and staff within University Central must register and park in facilities controlled by the Office of Traffic and Parking. Parking for Medical Center faculty and staff is managed by the Medical Center.

For University Central, approximately 8,000 spaces are located across more than 100 separate parking facilities. Parking is administered by “zone” allowing users to traverse the shortest possible distance to destinations. Each zone contains a known supply of parking spaces and a known supply of students, faculty, and staff. Adjustments are made in zone assignments as changes occur on campus.
