Thank you for your interest in the Vanderbilt/American Express Corporate Card Program. The form to request an application form and instructions for filling out/filing your American Express card can be found below.

The primary benefit of the American Express Corporate Card program to you is that it provides you with an easy payment method for your Vanderbilt business expenses. The card also comes with no annual fee.

As you may know, American Express makes the ultimate decision as to whether you are issued a card. Since Vanderbilt does not guarantee cards issued to individuals, American Express evaluates credit card applications based on individual credit history.

You will find that filing your travel and expense reports as soon as possible upon return from a trip will assist you in meeting the payment terms of the American Express program. Payment in full is due to American Express by the date posted on your statement. If the payment in full is not received by this date, then your account is considered past due. As with any credit card, failure to pay within the required time frame will negatively impact your personal credit history.
