The Mary Jane Werthan Award

The Mary Jane Werthan Award is given annually to honor an individual who has contributed to the advancement of women at Vanderbilt on a systemic level.  It is named in honor of Mary Jane Werthan, the first woman member of the Vanderbilt Board of Trust. Nominations are being accepted until Feb. 15, 2013. The award will be given at the Cuninggim Lecture on March 21, 2013, where the honoree will be presented with a monetary prize and special award.
