Bahr Weiss, Ph.D.
Professor Weiss' main areas of research interest are the study of developmental
influences on the expression of depression; the relation between aggression
and depression in children; assessment of the efficacy of child psychotherapy
under non-research conditions; development of psychological interventions
for non-Western cultures; and quantitative analysis. Current research
projects include two naturalistic outcomes studies of child psychotherapy,
a conceptual review of developmental differences in depression, and a short-term
longitudinal study of the temporal relations between aggression and depression
in children.
