Dr. Catron received his graduate degree in clinical psychology from
Peabody College, Vanderbilt University, followed by clinical training at
Yale. Dr. Catron is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Executive
Director of the Vanderbilt Mental Health Center. Current interests
are in the development and evaluation of innovative mental health services
for under served populations. His area of expertise is in school-based
clinical services and program development. Dr. Catron has served
as the Principal Investigator on a SAMHSA funded school-based counseling
project and is currently co-PI on NIMH funded child psychotherapy efficacy
investigations.
