TEAM
One of the functions of the Vanderbilt Aerospace club is it's involvement in the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Each year the club travels to the major AIAA student conference and presents its project.

Last year the club traveled to Cape Canaveral, Florida, for the annual AIAA Student conference. We learned a lot about the state of aerospace engineering from the various other research/design groups present at the conference, and our project's presentation in the Team Project section, called the Rocket Deployed UAV, won 2nd in its division and a cash prize.
