The goal of the ThinkOne Energy Conservation Project is to assist the Vanderbilt campus community with reducing our energy consumption by 15% or more campus-wide throughout the year.

The Commons Earns a Governor's Award and LEED Gold Certification

Vanderbilt received a Governor’s Environmental Stewardship Award from the State of Tennessee for The Commons.  Additionally, The Commons Center also earned LEED Gold Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. The Commons Center is only the second building in the entire state to be certified LEED Gold.
