The Price of Cutting Costs

Project Description:
Over the past decade, funding for fine and performing arts programs has been cut significantly.  We plan to investigate the extent of these cuts, the harmful effects of the budget cuts, and the benefits of an education that includes the fine and performing arts.  We will also work with local educators to examine the impact on the local community.  Then, through second semester community outreach projects and events, we hope to raise awareness of the problem and increase support for and participation in the fine and performing arts.
