DIVERSITY: Digging Into Vanderbilt’s Ethnic, Racial, and Social Integration Taboos for a Year
Advisor: Lori Groves-White
The objective of our project is to engage in a year-long multifaceted discussion on contemporary social issues using multiculturalism as a backdrop. Students and faculty members of the Vanderbilt community will be invited to participate in our weekly activities. At the end of the school year, we hope that all residents and participants will have developed a higher level of tolerance and respect for the differences which make our society so wonderful and a determination not to let these differences draw us apart.
