Off-Campus Housing Fair 2011
The Office of Housing and Residential Education plans to increase the number of off-campus housing authorizations for the 2012-13 academic year. In an effort to ease this process for students, OHARE is hosting an Off-Campus Housing Fair on November 1, 2011, from 5:00pm-7:00pm. The fair will take place in the Board of Trust Room, Student Life Center. To learn more about various properties close to Vanderbilt and to gather important information about the off campus authorization process, be sure to attend the Off-Campus Housing Fair.
WHO: ALL undergraduate students (including rising sophomores, rising juniors, and rising seniors)
WHAT: An opportunity to meet representatives from 40 apartment complexes, a furniture rental company, Metro Codes, and Comcast, as well as to gather information about renter’s insurance. Also, learn how to apply for authorization to live off campus.
WHERE: Board of Trust room, located in the Student Life Center
WHEN: November 1, 2011, from 5:00pm – 7:00pm
WHY: Because the construction of new college halls will increase the number of off-campus authorizations by about 300, OHARE is providing students with the opportunity to conduct their research on off-campus accommodations in a convenient location on campus – we are bringing the properties to you!
HOW: In order to live off campus, students must complete an off-campus application as instructed here. Applications will be available in February 2012. Also, attend this fair to learn more about living off campus!
Thank you for your time. We look forward to seeing YOU at the Off-Campus Housing Fair on November 1, 2011 at 5:00pm in the Board of Trust Room.
