Counting Crows to headline
2nd Annual ‘Commodore Quake’

Chart-topping pop rockers Counting Crows (Omaha, Mr. Jones, Hangin’ Around) will headline the second annual Homecoming pep rally, ‘Commodore Quake” Oct. 25 at Memorial Gym. Faculty and staff may pick up two tickets at the Sarratt Student Center welcome desk, which are free and available exclusively to members of the Vanderbilt community, beginning Friday, Sept. 27 at 8 a.m. Alumni may be reserve two tickets by phoning (615) 322-2471, also beginning Sept. 27. Tickets were made available to students Sept. 21. All tickets are general admission by section. Also scheduled to appear at the Commodore Quake are Graham Colton, comedian Vic Henley, the Spirit of Gold Marching Band, cheerleaders, student performers, members of the Commodore football team, football coach Bobby Johnson, Chancellor Gordon Gee and David Williams, vice chancellor and general counsel. The Commodore Quake is a part of the ExtraVUganza homecoming celebration, Oct. 25-26.
